Abstract
The present work is related to strategies ofbusiness growth of Grupo Bimbo, which
have led the company to position itself among the top ten published by Expansion
magazine. It aims to expose the economic and financial key factors that
contributing to its success and business growth over the years. The methodology is
qualitative in nature, through the case study. To determine the strategies were
assigned representative variables, strengthening them with information obtained
from scientific articles, the annual report of Grupo Bimbo and company news. The
results show that the success of Grupo Bimbo is mainly due to the anticipation and
adapting its products to the needs of each market in which it operates;agreements
for the purchase of its raw material; to their discipline of deleveraging and debt
coverage; the strategic acquisition of brands and the identification of partners with
the vision of the company.
